Personal data
Privacy policy
This English version is provided for information purposes. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.
1. Data controller
- Controller
- Maître Michel Azeroual, notary, 67 boulevard de Picpus, 75012 Paris, France
- Data protection officer
- dpo.notaires@datavigiprotection.fr
2. Data collected on this website
The website only collects personal data when you enter it yourself in the contact and appointment request forms: full name, email address, telephone number, subject of the request, preferred type of appointment, availability and the content of your message.
The forms do not allow documents to be attached. Please do not enter any sensitive data or confidential information in them: after your first contact, the office will tell you which documents to provide and how to send them.
Like any website, the hosting server records technical logs (IP address, pages viewed, date and time) needed for the security and proper operation of the service.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Responding to your request and organising an appointment: steps taken at your request before any engagement is entered into, and consent given by ticking the form’s checkbox.
- Ensuring the security of the website (technical logs, spam protection): the office’s legitimate interest.
If a matter is opened, the information sent through the forms is incorporated into the processing specific to the notarial activity, which is subject to its own retention and confidentiality rules.
4. Recipients
The data entered in the forms is sent by email to the office and is only accessible to its members, who are bound by professional secrecy. It is neither sold nor passed on to third parties for commercial purposes.
The website host (OVH SAS
2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France
Telephone: 1007
https://www.ovhcloud.com/fr/) acts as a technical processor. No audience measurement tool, no external font and no advertising network is loaded during your visit. The only exception, which is up to you, is the access map described below.
5. Retention periods
- Messages and appointment requests received through the forms: kept for as long as needed to handle the request and for no more than twelve months, unless a matter is opened.
- Server technical logs: period set by the host, limited to what is necessary for security.
- Notarial files: statutory retention periods specific to the profession.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection, as well as the right to portability of the data you have provided. You can withdraw your consent at any time for the future. To exercise these rights, write to michel.azeroual@notaires.fr or to the data protection officer: dpo.notaires@datavigiprotection.fr. You can also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés (cnil.fr).
Some data processed in connection with a notarial deed is subject to statutory retention obligations, which may limit the exercise of the right to erasure.
7. Security
- Encrypted communications (HTTPS) between your browser and the website.
- Forms protected against automated submissions without using any third-party tracking service.
- Access to messages limited to members of the office, who are bound by professional secrecy.
- No documents or sensitive data pass through the website’s forms.
8. Cookies, trackers and access map
The website sets no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies and uses no audience measurement tool. No consent banner is therefore needed: the message displayed on your first visit is for information only.
Only two pieces of information may be stored by your browser, on your device, and they are never sent to our servers:
- the fact that you have read the information message, so that it is not shown to you on every visit;
- your permission to display the access map, where applicable.
The access map (Google Maps) is not loaded automatically. Until you click “Show the access map”, no data is sent to Google. If you choose to display it, your IP address and information about your browser are sent to Google LLC, which may set its own cookies, in accordance with its privacy policy. Our contact details and directions remain available without displaying the map.
Your permission applies only to the access map. It is stored for six months on your device and can be withdrawn at any time below, or by clearing your browser’s site data.
